We are also governed by a Board of Trustees who freely give their time, skills and experience to ensure Carers Trust North Wales is expertly led:
Bethan Trenchard (Chair): Originally from the Conwy Valley, Bethan worked as a Nurse in Merseyside, retiring as a Team leader and moving back to North Wales. Whilst working she was a representative of the local Primary Care Trust and a staff representative with the Royal College of Nursing. Now she volunteers for the British Red Cross, is a trustee for the Clwyd/Denbigh WI, local village school and charity Hafan Ifan. Bethan is also a member of the local Community First Responders, Deacon at her local chapel and Presbytery Secretary for Conwy Dyfodwy.
David Brydon (Hon Treasurer): Qualified Accountant and retired Senior Financial Manager. David worked for the Business Service Centre for Local Health Boards, and the NHS England and Wales. He is a member of the Institute of Healthcare Management also a member of the Rotary Club in Bangor and is the Treasurer of 'Friends of Church Island, Menai Bridge'.
Michael Boyle: Now retired, he was the Managing Director of a chemical Engineering company, and developed process and management skills in the steel, glass, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Michael is also a member of the North Wales Cancer Patient Forum.
Alan Dixon: Having worked in the field of learning disabilities and psychiatry for 50 years, Alan is now retired. He has qualifications in counselling and worked with carers and families at the Alaw ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd and has been a member of the Community Health Council.
Sara Mogul: Sara has worked as a college Principle and CEO prior to her retirement in 2013. She sits on various boards across North Wales and is an unpaid carer.
Rhian Jones: Rhian worked as a Nurse in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd until she retired, then returned as a consultant nurse part time and is an unpaid carer.
Trudie Roberts: Born and Raised in the Conwy Valley, Trudie moved to Liverpool to train and work as a nurse. She worked as a District nurse and midwife until her retirement and is an unpaid carer.
