Community groups

We have the following community groups running in North Wales:

Cafe Cofio:

Cafe Cofio is held four times a week in Anglesey. Carers and/or cared-for meet up in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, talk to people in a similar situation to themselves, receive practical and emotional support and take part in various activities.

The drop-in sessions take place every week as follows:

Tuesdays 2-4 pm, The Bull Hotel, Llangefni
Wednesdays 2-4 pm, The Dinorben Hotel, Amlwch
Thursdays 1-3 pm, The Valley Hotel, Valley

If you'd like to attend, just turn up at one of the above groups and you will be very warmly welcomed.

Cafe Conwy:

Cafe Conwy is based on the same idea as the Cafe Cofio sessions. The groups are open to all carers and cared-for living in the Conwy area. They are held as follows:

Mochdre Village Hall, Mochdre, Colwyn Bay, 2-4 pm, fortnightly on Tuesdays
The Youth & Community Centre, Market Street, Abergele, 2-4 pm, fortnightly on Wednesdays

If you are interested in attending, please contact us at the office 01492 542212 to check when the next group will meet.

Get Involved

The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board wants people to 'get involved' with its plans for a healthier North Wales. People can register for the latest news and information including surveys, consultations and events. BCUHB are asking people to 'get involved' and share their views, join a group, come to a meeting, become a volunteer. Please follow the link Get Involved for more information.
