Carers Trust North Wales Crossroads Care Services is working closely with the local authorities across North Wales and BCUHB, and are following current guidance from Welsh and UK Governments. We continue to risk assess the situation and are working hard to ensure that our quality services can support those in need. Our priority is to ensure that carers and the people they care for along with our staff are safe and supported.

As an organisation we follow robust infection control procedures and we equip all our staff with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Our service to you is not changing and your Carer Support Worker will continue to visit you to offer you any support at this time. If, however, you are in receipt of our services but feel that you do not want to go out at the moment, our staff can still help in a variety of ways, eg by going to do your shopping for you, by carrying out light household chores, or by giving you a break so you can just have a rest.

We request that any carers we are working with inform us immediately on 01492 542212 if they or anyone in their household is self-isolating. By informing us this will help us to continue our services to carers and vulnerable people in our communities.

We would also encourage carers to consider contingency planning and to strengthen personal networks now to include families, friends and neighbours so that they know who to call on if they need support.

Further updates will be provided in this quickly changing period. If you have any queries about your service from Carers Trust North Wales, please contact on 01492 542212, email northwales@nwcrossroads.org.uk.
