Dementia Support Service Launch

Wednesday 21st December 2016

Carers Trust North Wales and the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board are delighted to launch the brand new Dementia Support Service which went 'live' on 3 October 2016. The service has been set up to provide post-diagnostic information, advice and support to people newly diagnosed with Dementia and their families, and is available across all six counties of North Wales.

Project Leader Lisa Jones (pictured left) said: I am excited to implement and be a part of a much needed service. The team at Carers Trust North Wales, Crossroads Care Services, are highly experienced and skilled staff members providing Dementia information, advice and support. Coupled with our partnership with the BCUHB and service users, we want to achieve more positive outcomes for the future health and wellbeing of people with Dementia and their carers.
